Bosnia records New Cases of COVID-19 and New Deaths

In the past 24 hours, 1,243 samples were tested for coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 344 were positive while 46 people died.

Yesterday, 811 cases of coronavirus were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 1,987 samples were tested.

Compared to the day before, 744 fewer samples were tested, while the number of newly infected was lower by 467. It is important to note that the fewest samples are tested during the week compared to the rest of the week.

As of today, 45,606 patients have been cured in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 510 patients. There are currently 17,966 coronavirus-positive cases active. In the past 24 hours, 22 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, and the Hospital Sv. Vracevi in Bijeljina tested 363 laboratory samples, and a new coronavirus was confirmed in 102 people. These are 57 males and 45 females, of which 9 are younger, 48 are middle-aged and 45 are older.

Today, four new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brcko District of BiH, out of eight tested samples. One man died. 22 people recovered. Currently, 986 cases of infection are active.
