Bosniak Club vetoes Dodik’s Law

The Bosniak Club in the Council of Peoples of the Republika Srpska today launched a mechanism for the protection of vital national interests on the Law on the Protection of the Constitutional Order of the RS, which was adopted at the proposal of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, at the 20th special session of the RS National Assembly.

The President of the Bosniak Delegates Club, Alija Tabaković, told Fena news agency that this decision will be discussed at the session of the RS Council of Peoples.

For the Law on the Protection of the Constitutional Order of the RS by urgent procedure, out of 58 present, 50 deputies in the RS National Assembly voted in favor, and eight voted against. The majority of the opposition deputies were not present.

At the 20th special session of the RS National Assembly, the Draft Constitution of the RS was also adopted, but it was not discussed at the session of the Bosniak Club because it is a document in draft form.
