Last Year’s Turnover recorded by Fiscal Cash Registers was 25.3 Billion BAM

The total turnover recorded by fiscal cash registers in the Republic of Srpska last year was 25.3 billion BAM.

“In 2023, on the eve of the implementation of the Law on Fiscalization, the same turnover amounted to BAM 11.3 billion annually, which is an increase of 120 percent compared to these two years,” the Ministry of Finance of the Republika Srpska announced.

The data on the increase in turnover show the favorable effects of the new fiscalization system in which each individual account is recorded in real time.

According to the data of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska, a total of 39,300 taxpayers or 98 percent of the total number of taxpayers who initiated the procedure have been fiscalized in this process.

A total of 53,375 fiscal cash registers are currently installed in the Republika Srpska, and based on the submitted requests for inclusion in fiscalization, there are still about 900 remaining.
