BNT – Tvornica mašina i hidraulike Novi Travnik (BNT – Machine and Hydraulics Factory Novi Travnik), a company specializing in the production of heavy artillery and military equipment, achieved its best business results in the past three decades in 2025.

The company’s total revenue last year amounted to 41.8 million BAM, continuing its growth compared to the previous year when it stood at 34.7 million BAM. Expenses increased from 32.3 million BAM to 37.3 million BAM within a year.

The company’s net profit last year was 4.5 million BAM, compared to 2.4 million BAM the year before, BiznisInfo.ba reported, citing the company’s financial statements.

One of the Key Companies

BNT-TMiH is increasingly positioning itself as one of the leading companies in the domestic defence industry. The company specializes in producing mortars, howitzers, rocket launchers, recoilless guns, tank and aircraft cannons, as well as other sophisticated combat systems.

In 2025, the company made a significant technological step forward by producing its first drone. However, at the beginning of this year, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Staša Košarac issued a decision on revoking the company’s permit to produce drones, citing violations of the Law on the Production of Weapons and Military Equipment.

New Jobs Already in 2026

Despite this, the company expects further growth given its wide range of products. As previously announced, 2026 should bring new employment opportunities, further confirming the company’s stable growth and long-term strategy.

The 2025 results confirm that BNT from Novi Travnik is becoming one of the key pillars of the military industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with strong potential for further growth.
