According to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Amman, which covers Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina states that there are no citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina among the victims of the explosion that took place on August 4 in Beirut.
The premises of the BiH Honorary Consulate in Beirut were completely destroyed, and a person working to secure the entire building of the Honorary Consulate, a Lebanese citizen, was killed.
Yesterday’s blast in Beirut killed at least 100 people and injured more than 4,000. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH will continue to monitor the situation in Beirut and inform the public in a timely manner.
