Brammertz Meets With Prosecutors and Association of Victims in B&H

U.N. war crimes tribunal's chief prosecutor Brammertz attends an official meeting with Croatia's PM Kosor in ZagrebThe ICTY Prosecutor Serge Brammertz is in a two day visit to B&H. He will have meetings today with representatives of association of victims as well as with representatives of the international community.

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia is in our country in a regular working visit to prepare for the report on the strategy of ICTY operation completion that the Prosecutor Brammertz will submit to the UN Security Council in May.

Brammertz met today with the officials of the Prosecutor’s Office in B&H and discussed with them the joint cooperation in the procession of war crimes.

The main topic of this meeting was reporting on the work of the Prosecutor’s Office in B&H on the remaining cases of category II, that ICTY started investigating by the end of 2003 and material evidences from these cases have been submitted to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office.
