Brave Naida Murtic passed away after a difficult Battle with Breast Cancer

Naida Murtić, a Sarajevan whose fate saddened many, today lost her battle with breast cancer and passed away at the age of 33.

The news of her death was announced by her sister Emina Fajić on Instagram, and their fight in the previous months was an inspiration to many women fighting breast cancer.

“Our silk, my sister Naida Murtić, returned to her Master early this morning. She was born to love, an example of a good daughter, sister, wife and the most wonderful mother. The hour of her death was recorded even before the illness, and we are grateful that this trial brought us all closer to the Lord, to our beautiful faith Islam, she put a scarf and spent her last moments in this world mentioning and glorifying His name”, reads the post of Naida’s sister Emina.

Sisters Naida Murtić and Emina Fajić found out in less than a month that they were suffering from a serious and malignant disease. Less than a month after learning that Naida was suffering from breast cancer, her sister Emina also received the same diagnosis.
