District_BrckoMayor of the Brcko District Anto Domic and the Vice Mayor Esed Kadric have visited today facilities and met with the representatives of the administration of the factory- bottler of natural spring water “Maja“ on the locality of Maoca that got a concession for the exploitation of water on 30 years, announced rom the Government of Brcko District.

Domic said that after almost eight years, they succeeded to issue a first concession on the using of a natural property of Brcko District.

“Despite a lot of unknown things and disorientation in the administration, we managed and today we have officially finished the complicated procedure of getting a concession and signed a contract with the company “Blue Gold“ that got a concession-said the Mayor adding that remains other actions that will allow them to create a legal conditions for manufacturing and export of water under the trademark “Maja“”.

“I believe that in the future we will be able to assign these concessions faster and without that much difficulties. We made an affordable solution by which the investor pays 17.500 BAM for the first year, and then in accordance with the production pays a certain percentage that will be an integral part of a budget.  It is important for us to exploit the water, to export it and for water “Maja“ to be at the domestic market, and the most important thing to employ people. It would be wonderful if we could employ around 100 people”, emphasized Mayor Domic.

While getting to know the leaders of the Government about development plans, owner of the company “Blue Gold“ Sijo Rezic emphasized that around 2.5 million euros has been invested in this project until now.

“Current capacities are about three million liters per month, and an interest for the export to Arab countries, China and to countries of the European Union is really big. So I believe that we will significantly increase the number of employees” concluded Rezic.
