Brigadier General Pamela L. McGaha met today at Camp Butmir with representatives of the George C. Marshall Center who are staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of their visit to the Western Balkans.

During the meeting, General McGaha outlined the key priorities of the partnership activities of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo with Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the development of the capabilities of the entire defense and security sector of BiH, and the wider support that NATO allies provide to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

General McGaha thanked the George C. Marshall Center for its continued partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since its establishment in 1993, the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC) has been committed to promoting dialogue, understanding and addressing regional, transnational and global security challenges. The center’s strategy is based on the key components of the mission, namely education, inclusion and empowerment, as well as the importance of transatlantic connectivity in providing security in the region – NATO Headquarters Sarajevo announced.
