Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) organized the handover ceremony of the Memorandum on NATO Accreditation of the Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC) at Camp Butmir.

Brigadier Elvedin Omic also addressed the audience.

”Let me wish you all a warm welcome to Camp Butmir and the PSOTC. I feel truly privileged and honored to have the opportunity to address you on this special day and the solemn moment of the handover of the NATO Memorandum on NATO Accreditation of the PSOTC at Camp Butmir. It is a great honor and pleasure to be the commander of this institution when successes are recognized by all relevant institutions.

Their presence confirms that today. The process of obtaining NATO accreditation is quite demanding. There are many standards and sub-standards that are evaluated. They assessed all these standards positively for us. I would like to highlight two standards that have been rated the highest and that really show the true value of the PSOTC, which are constant improvement and continuity,” Omic stated yesterday.
