The British Formula 1 driver David Coulthard has arrived in Sarajevo, and the occasion is his performance at the Red Bull Showrun event scheduled for June 9, the organizers announced.

During the day, Coulthard arrived in the capital of BiH, where together with the rest of the Red Bull Racing team, he will make a spectacle to remember.

He is a driver whose F1 career lasted from 1994 to 2008, during which he drove for Williams, McLaren and Red Bull Racing.

The popular DC made a great contribution to the development of Red Bull Racing into a championship team, and even after the end of his career, he remained part of a large and successful family. Looking at the statistics, David drove in 246 races, scored 13 wins, 62 podiums, 12 pole positions, 18 fastest laps and a total of 535 points.

“It’s my first time in Sarajevo, I’m actually very excited to come here because I’ve heard about the city, but I haven’t been there. What people can expect is the opportunity to get up close to a Formula 1 car, I think they’re always really impressed by the noise, the kind of energy that the car has. I’ve been on a lot of different tours with Red Bull, This is an opportunity for me to still drive a Grand Prix car, I’m in my fifties and I haven’t driven a race for 16 years, but it’s still a connection with an amazing race car,” said Coulthard after arriving to Sarajevo.

He also invited the audience to come to the Red Bull Showrun and enjoy the spectacle.

“I am really looking forward to this week in Sarajevo, in the city center. We will drive a Formula 1 car from 2 p.m.,” said Coulthard.

He is already waiting for the Red Bull Racing F1 car, which arrived at the beginning of the week, and which the famous Briton will drive in front of thousands of spectators on Sunday. The popular DC will thus put on his suit again and sit in the cockpit of the RB7 car, one of the most dominant in the history of Formula 1. In 2011, this car brought Red Bull Racing titles in the order of drivers and constructors, and now, thanks to Red Bull, it will be seen by many audience in Sarajevo and hear his deafening sound.

David and RB7 will definitely be the biggest stars of the Red Bull Showrun, but the audience will also be able to watch the stunts of Arunas Gibieža on his motorcycle, as well as the performance of the drift duo Red Bull Driftbrothers.

The cubes are slowly stacked for an unforgettable spectacle, and admission is free. The audience will be able to watch the events on the track between Marijin Dvor and the Technical School, that is, the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, next to the fence itself and from the already sold-out stands, the organizers announced.
