A building under construction located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Tower, also known as the Kingdom Tower, is on track to surpass the Burj Khalifa as the tallest building in the world, with a projected height of over 1.000 meters.
In 2010, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai set unprecedented records, rising to a height of 828 meters and taking the title of the tallest building in the world.
Guinness World Records recognizes that the Jeddah Tower, which is projected to exceed 1.000 meters, has the potential to redefine the global skyline upon completion.
Developed by the Jeddah Economic Company, this high-rise is envisioned as a comprehensive complex that features luxury residences, office spaces, serviced apartments, and luxury residential buildings.
Namely, it should house the “highest observatory in the world”, among other revolutionary features.
Jeddah Tower’s ambitious design and estimated cost of 1.23 billion dollars make it a strong contender to surpass the Burj Khalifa.
Located in northern Jeddah as part of a major 20 billion dollar megaproject, construction of this architectural masterpiece resumed in 2023 after a five-year hiatus.

Uncertainty over the construction completion date heightens anticipation, as the proposed size and amenities pose a significant challenge to the Burj Khalifa’s “reign”.
