Candidate status for BiH: The Bridges of Sarajevo in blue!

Candidate status is an important sign that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a place in the European Union.

To mark the fact that BiH has received EU candidate status, nine bridges in the centre of Sarajevo were illuminated in blue tonight.

From the Eiffel Bridge in Skenderija, to the Šeherćehaja Bridge near the City Hall, we celebrated the decision on candidate status in a symbolic way.

We believe in the European future of BiH!
