The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has today adopted a decision to impose administrative measures for failure to submit the annual financial report for 2023.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has initiated a procedure to determine liability against political parties for failure to submit the annual financial report for 2023, and after the procedure, it has adopted a decision to impose an administrative measure of denial of the right to run in the upcoming elections for several political parties.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has imposed this administrative measure for the following parties: Democratic Party of the Disabled of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbian Renewal Movement of RS, Liberal Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian Free Democrats, New Civic Initiative Kozarac, Independent Party Dr. Mihajlo Tovirac, New Force of Bosnia and Herzegovina, People’s Party Novi Grad, Progressive Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Economic People’s Movement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, List for Bugojno, Party of Just Politics.

The aforementioned measure was also imposed on the following parties: Democratic Family Party, Udar Ljevice, Social Democratic Front of BiH, Movement for Better Brčko-Đapo Mirsad, Alliance for Old Town, Strength of the Center, United Progressive Party, New Party, Autochthonous Croatian Party of Rights of BiH, Croatian Peasant Party of BiH, Serbian Progressive Party Original, New Bosniak Movement, Original Serbian Party, Alliance of Youth Forces, Independent BiH List, Alliance of Remainers, Alliance of Communists of Yugoslavia, Ecological Freedom Movement, Independent List Positive Animal Story, Patriotic Front of BiH, Socialists of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Croatian Homeland Movement of BiH, Alliance of Democratic Forces, Party of Salvation, Ecological Democratic Party and Our Story of RS.

The Central Election Commission of BiH also adopted a conclusion on the suspension of the procedure for two political parties – the Democratic Party of BiH because it eliminated a deficiency during the procedure, i.e. submitted an annual financial report for 2023, and for the political party For a Better Goražde, which was deleted from the register because it has not been operating for a long period of time.

Also, the Central Election Commission has initiated the procedure for determining responsibility for the political party Return of the Deregistered, for which the conditions for making a decision have not been met, and an adequate decision will be made for this political party once the conditions are met.
