The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH), with the financial support of the Council of Europe and the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the logistical support of the Association of Election Officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UIZBiH), successfully organized a two-day post-election conference “General Elections 2022 – Challenges and Lessons Learned” which was held on June 15 and 16 in Sarajevo.

The conference gathered more than 200 participants – representatives of municipal/city election commissions from 143 municipalities/cities in BiH, election experts from the country and abroad, including representatives of the Council of Europe, OSCE BiH, OSCE/ODIHR, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Delegation of the European Union, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the Office of the High Representative for BiH (OHR) and representatives of the non-governmental sector in BiH and the media.

At the conference, CEC BiH presented the edition “Electoral Law in Practice – General Elections 2022”, as well as the findings of the monitoring of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the response of the criminal justice system to cases of electoral fraud related to the General Elections 2022.
