baletThe ballet of the National Theatre Sarajevo will celebrate this year as well 29 April, the International Day of Dance, which has been celebrated since 1982.

The romantic ballet “Vragolasta djevojka” composed by Ferdinand Herold and Peter Ludwig Hertel will take place for this occasion at 19:30 at the National Theatre Sarajevo on 29 April.

The choreography for this ballet was made by guest from Russia Vasiliy Medvedev. The ballet will be accompanied by the Sarajevo philharmonic and led by Samra Gulamović.

The following artists are in the lead roles: Tamara Ljubičić, Mihaila Mateescu, Evgenya Gaponko, Adnana Đindu and Boris Vidaković.

The main idea of the International Day of Dance is to remind society of this artistic shape and to be enjoyed in its universality which prevails all the political, cultural and ethnic obstacles.

The author of this year’s international note is the French dancer and choreographer Mourad Merzouk.
