Chairman of BiH Presidency met with Federica Mogherini

mogheriniChairman of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanic met today with EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) Federica Mogherini. At the meeting, they discussed the internal political situation in BiH and the region, and on the BiH’s progress towards the EU.

Both interlocutors agreed that the priorities of BiH politics are the efficient implementation of Reform Agenda measures and the effective preparation of a response to the European Commission’s Questionnaire.

Ivanić and Mogherini concluded that this is a very good time and that BiH should take the advantage of it now.

Moreover, Ivanic expressed concern for the missed opportunity, and concluded that a delay in the European integration of BiH could take place and could last for a longer period of time.

During the day, Ivanic will meet with the President of the Council of the European Union Donald Tusk, Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, and hold  several bilateral meetings.
