BEVANDA PRIMIO IZASLANSTVO AMERIÈKIH ZVANIÈNIKA ZA BORBU PROTIV TERORIZMAThe Chairman of B&H Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda received today in Sarajevo a US delegation led by Deputy Coordinator of the Office for Combating Terrorism of the State Department Justin Siberell and Deputy Director of the National Center for Combating Terrorism Nick Rasmussen. They discussed the security situation in B&H and the region.

Chairman Bevanda stressed the commitment of the B&H Council of Ministers to support the institutional fight against terrorism and all forms of violence.

He informed the US delegation that the B&H Council of Ministers has made changes to the B&H Criminal Code, which severely penalizes B&H citizens and groups, which organize or participate in armed conflicts abroad.

Deputy Coordinator of the Office for Combating Terrorism at the State Department Justin Siberell said that the USA supports the efforts of the B&H Council of Ministers in the fight against terrorism. He noted that international and inter-institutional cooperation is the only right way to respond to the new global security challenges.

In this regard, the USA is organizing consultations with all the key partners in the region to raise cooperation at a higher level.
