Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, met with the Saudi Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

They stated good friendly and bilateral relations between BiH and Saudi Arabia and expressed mutual interest in the improvement of economic relations.

During the meeting, Prince Sultan bin Salman noted that there is a great space for cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism. He also noted great interest of business people from Saudi Arabia in further investment in BiH.

Chairman Izetbegovic used the opportunity to thank Saudi Arabia on all the help provided to BiH in the period of aggression, as well as during the period of post-war reconstruction. He also sent special greetings to King Salman, who personally took care of the work of the Saudi High Commission for Relief of BiH, as announced by the Presidency of BiH.

Prince Sultan bin Salman recalled his first visit to BiH in 2000, in which he was together with his father, the current King of Saudi Arabia Salman.

Prince Sultan bin Salman was a pilot of military and civil aircraft, and he flew into the universe within the Discovery mission as a member of the International Crew back in 1985. Now, he is head of the High Committee for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Saudi Arabia.
