The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, talked via a video link with the newly appointed and former Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Paul Hilbers and Anthony de Lannoy on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed the continuation of cooperation with this financial institution, in the context of opening the process of negotiations on a new arrangement, which will be of great help in overcoming the economic and social crisis caused by the coronary virus pandemic.

Chairman Tegeltija pointed out that the post-pandemic recovery will require the full engagement of all levels of government in BiH in order to improve the investment climate, and pointed out the importance of joint action in efforts to recover the health and real sector.

Chairman Tegeltija thanked the former IMF Executive Director De Lano for good cooperation and expressed support, and wished the newly appointed Executive Director Hilbers a happy and successful mandate, the BiH Council of Ministers stated in the press release.
