Chairman of BiH Presidency on an Official Visit to Italy

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Italy on Tuesday, July 2, at the invitation of the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella. This is the first official visit to Italy by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency after seventeen years.

Bećirović will speak with Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, the official residence of the Italian president.

During his visit to Italy, Bećirović will discuss Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path to full membership in the EU and NATO, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy.

The official visit to the Republic of Italy, one of the leading powers of the EU, is a continuation of Bećirović’s diplomatic activities in his capacity as chairman of the BiH Presidency, Bećirović’s Cabinet announced.
