Chairman of BiH Presidency met with the Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, met in New York with the Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development, Ahmed Aqeel Al-Khateeb.

During the meeting, they discussed the improvement of relations between the two countries, with a special focus on the improvement of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of tourism.

It was jointly stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a huge tourism potential that needs to be further developed through existing and new forms of cooperation.

It was emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have friendly relations, without open questions, and it was emphasized that the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia feel comfortable during their stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting also discussed the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the funds of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Minister Al-Khateeb thanked the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić for the support that Bosnia and Herzegovina granted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the first round of voting for its candidacy related to EXPO 2030, Komšić’s Cabinet announced.
