Chairman of Bosnian Council of Ministers met with Italian Ambassador

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija, met on Wednesday in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of Italy to Bosnia, Nicola Minasi, on the political and economic situation in Bosnia and the region, with an emphasis on the development and improvement of economic cooperation between the two country.

On this occasion, President Tegeltija emphasized that Bosnia and Italy have developed cooperation in various fields, and expressed readiness to use good relations for realization of concrete projects in order to raise economic cooperation in the future.

 During the meeting, interlocutors also discussed topics related to the European integration process.  On this occasion, Tegeltija emphasized that the newly formed Council of Ministers is fully committed to the continuation of European integration, and emphasized that the process of joining the European Union requires commitment and coordination of all levels of government, with full respect for constitutional competences.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on other current political topics, and Ambassador Minasi conveyed his congratulations to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, on the assumption of a new post.
