The Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, will be on an official visit to Hungary on January 23 and 24, during which meetings with the highest political officials of this country are scheduled.
According to information from the Presidency, Cvijanović will meet with Hungarian President Katalin Novak and Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Hungary. The Cvijanović Cabinet did not specify the topics to be discussed at the meeting.
As part of the visit, the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović will also stay in Sentandreja, where she will meet with the Bishop of Buda Lukijan, visit the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as the Serbian Orthodox Museum of the Diocese of Buda.
Viktor Orban’s last meeting with some of BiH. officials took place in October 2022, when the Prime Minister of Hungary met with the then member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, in Budapest.
On the eve of the meeting, Dodik pointed out that the topic of the meeting with Orban will be electricity, considering, as he said, that Republika Srpska is the only one in the Balkans that produces excess energy and builds new power plants.
In addition to this, Dodik and Orban also held a number of other meetings where they discussed above all economic cooperation, but also political support for the current government structures in the RS, Klix.ba reports.
