Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto spoke today in Sarajevo with the head of the Delegation of the European Union in BiH and the special representative of the European Union in BiH, Ambassador Johann Sattler, about the priorities of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Chairperson Krišto stressed that the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina has no alternative and that our country needs strong support from the EU.

She also expressed satisfaction with the candidate status, which comes as the first significant step forward after submitting the application for membership in February 2016.

– Chairperson Krišto thanked Ambassador Sattler for his support to our country so far and expressed expectations that the good cooperation will intensify in the future. She pointed out that serious efforts are ahead of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the area of protection of collective and individual rights, where the support of the EU is invaluable – announced the Information Service of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Ambassador Sattler congratulated Chairperson Krišto on her appointment and wished her successful work in her new position.
