Chaos Erupts in Serbian Parliament: Smoke Bomb Detonated, MPs Pelt Each Other with Eggs

Complete chaos is taking place at this moment at the first session of the Serbian Parliament in more than three months.

At one point, there was a clash between deputies in the Parliament. They even threw eggs at each other, and a smoke bomb was thrown, which made some deputies sick.

At one point, after a break that lasted about 10 minutes, the Speaker of the Parliament Ana Brnabić said that MP Jasmina Obradović had to leave the session after a smoke bomb was thrown and that she was taken away by ambulance.

She then continued her work, telling the opposition that they would have to kill her if they wanted them to “stop fighting for Serbia”.

“You will have to kill us. I will continue to work. You cannot stop us in any other way, I will continue to fight for Serbia”, Brnabić said afterwards and called on the deputies to continue their work.

Later, she addressed the citizens, saying that they should not worry and that Serbia is strong and “stronger than these people”.

“You have finally shown your true intentions. You want to come to power with tear gas. It would be better if you took the eggs to some family. The Assembly will work and defend Serbia,” she said, Klix.ba writes.
