Charge D’affairs Nicholas Hill to Visit Demining Site

nicholas hillCharge d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nicholas Hill will visit a demining site in the village of Ravne, Vareš municipality, on Monday, July 21st , 2014. The demining of Ravne village, which started last year in the back-yard of one of the villagers, is being funded by the United States Government.  Since 1999, the U.S. has invested over 92 million Dollars in conventional weapons destruction programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina for humanitarian mine action and conventional munitions stockpile reduction.

 

After visiting the demining site, Charge d’Affaires Hill will deliver a short statement, to be followed by a couple of questions from the press.

 

On Monday, 21st  July, the demining site visit will start at 10:30 o’clock.

At 10:45, the press statement, followed by a couple of questions from the press will be held.
