Cher has decided to retire from the Music Industry

Cher has confirmed that she is ready to retire from the music industry after more than 60 years of successful career. She stated that her next album will probably be her last.

During a performance at the Lyceum Theater in London, she addressed the audience and said it was time to end her career. Cher clarified that she was very excited about her new songs and that the new album was a blast, then joked about her age.
“I’m old, I’m the oldest everywhere, except when I’m in a nursing home,” she claims.

Cher has revealed that she would love to be 60 again.

She admitted that it was not always easy for her to deal with aging and that she likes to be surrounded by young people the most.

“I like young people because a lot of my friends don’t entertain me that much,” she says.

The singer is currently in a relationship with her partner, Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years younger. Her response to the criticism she faces due to the large age gap is that love doesn’t know math.

As a reminder, Cher recently published the first part of her memoir called “Cher: The Memoir, Part One” where she revealed that for years she did not know what name was written on her birth certificate.

The birth certificate did not say Cherilyn, but Cheryl, and the singer claims that she was shocked when she found out that she was written that way.
