“Chestnut Festival-brand Cazin Krajina” starts in Cazin today.
Association of beekeepers “Kesten” organizes this festival with the support of the municipality and they aim to promote chestnut potentials in this area. Tasting of chestnuts and chestnut products are planned for the first day of the festival and then a sales exhibition and a prize game will take place.
A round table on the topic of preserving chestnut forests will be held tomorrow, on the second day of the festival.
It will be about the protection of chestnut forests from illegal cutting, about chestnut honey-a brand of this region and the only product of animal origin protected in our country.
