The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, met and talked with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Vasily Kirilich, on topics of interest to the judicial institutions of Ukraine, as well as the activities carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in a case known to the public as “Ikona” /Icon/.

The Chief Prosecutor informed the Ambassador that several activities falling within the competence of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH had already been undertaken, and that it was necessary for the institutions from which international legal assistance had been requested to respond to the request as soon as possible.

The meeting also discussed the prosecution and work on cases related to the participation of BiH citizens on the battlefield in Ukraine.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine had signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2008 and that they had had good cooperation so far and that it would continue in the future.
