hor_basicsThe children’s choir Basics released its first authored song ‘Vrijeme Želja’ (time of wishes’ on occasion of the New Year, and it was written as a hymn for the Sarajevo Holiday Market.

Basics School is a musical project whose final outcome would be to promote quality and talent. So far, there are about a dozen students, and more than 30 members of the choir.

‘’The school for singing is my project that I officially launched in November 2013. It was created as the result of the lack of the affirmation of talented children and young people in East Sarajevo, as well as the entire region. The school operates in two segments-as a singing school for all young soloists who wish to progress as freelance artists as well as a youth choir where everyone will get the chance to make collective success through joint efforts’’, said for klix.ba Đorđe Jovančić, who heads the school.

The members of the choir are between the ages of six and twenty.
