The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and health care institutions need to prepare the feasibility study and documentation in the next period for 300 million USD worth project, which the RS will implement in cooperation with China.
The money should be mainly focused on the realization of projects for the construction and equipping of hospitals around the RS. They should build and equip new hospital in Doboj as well. The money would be spent for the reconstruction and equipping of part of the University Clinical Center of the RS, and parts for maternity and gynecology, pediatrics and infectious diseases.
Equipping would also follow in hospitals in Zvornik, Trebinje, Mljecanica, Foca, Prijedor, Sokolac and Modrica.
It was emphasized that the President of RS Milorad Dodik will sign a cooperation agreement with this Chinese company in the framework of the official visit to China, in finding favorable financial arrangements in China for the preparation and implementation of projects in the health system of the RS.
Government obliged the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Finance of the RS to implement the necessary procedures for the implementation of the arrangement with China.
Director of the University Clinical Center of the RS Mirko Stanetic said that it is very important for them that these projects are realized, because it would mean the further development of the UCC, which they are planning for years.
“We will be very happy to realize all these projects,” said Stanetic.
“Since our institution is growing from year to year, its total makeover is very important,” said Stanetic.
