Chinese Clubs want Edin Džeko?

dzeko2Chinese clubs are determined in their intention to become an appealing option for some of the best football players in the world. So far, they have done a good job.

Although the players who are almost old enough to retire mostly arrive to the Chinese championship, still many football players opt for playing in the most populous country.

Almost every day one of the Chinese premier league clubs forks out and sends unbelievable offer to the address of one of the European major teams or football players themselves. The last offer in a row might arrive to the address of Roma, for the BiH national team player Edin Džeko.

According to the Italian media, the club Tianjin Quanjian, which is led by the former captain of the Azzurri Fabio Cannavaro, wants to bring the BiH captain and first striker of Roma in the fall part of the season.

The offer itself is not negligible. Although there is no official confirmation, speculations are that the Chinese team is willing to offer 15 million EUR per season to Džeko, while the Roman club might receive double that amount for compensation.

Allegedly, Tianjin wants to bring Džeko in the winter transfer window and since the president of Roma likes business ventures it will be interesting to watch whether he will opt for a player who is 30 years old, but who is the first striker in the team, or sell him for 30 million EUR.
