A large number of Sarajevo citizens and tourists welcomed the New Year on the plateau behind the SCC, where a grandiose stage was set up, 38 meters long and 12 meters high, making it the largest ever for a New Year’s Eve party in Sarajevo.
The gathering was ushered in 2026 by Croatian singer Jelena Rozga, and spectacular special effects complemented the superb musical experience to ensure the audience had an unforgettable New Year’s Eve.
Despite the low temperatures, public New Year’s Eve parties were also organized in numerous other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nataša Bekvalac ushered in the New Year for the people of Banja Luka
The people of Banja Luka and numerous tourists gathered on the plateau near the Tennis Center in the “Mladen Stojanović” park welcomed midnight and the start of the new year 2026 in a great mood with regional star Nataša Bekvalac, who was joined before midnight by the mayor of the city on the Vrbas, Draško Stanivuković.
Stanivuković sent his congratulations to his fellow citizens and all those gathered on behalf of the City Administration, which this year also organized an outdoor reception.
The spectacle continues tonight, January 1, when singer Aco Pejović will perform at the same venue.
Zenica residents step into 2026 with fireworks and a song by Enes Begović
Several thousand Zenica residents and guests of the city welcomed 2026 last night in the open air, at the Kamberovića Polje parking lot, with fireworks at exactly midnight and a song by Bosnian singer Enes Begović.
The musical program, which began around 6 p.m., also included performances by a DJ and Serbian singer Katarina Živković.
Mayor Fuad Kasumović congratulated those present on the arrival of the New Year and wished them the best wishes.
Mostar welcomes 2026 with Saša Matić

Thousands of citizens and guests filled the City Square in Bihać, where, along with strong emotions, song and top production, a festive welcome of the New Year 2026 and the performance of regional music star Marija Šerifović were held.
