Citizens Will Send Joint Demands to FB&H Government

13111690135_2c5a8d5879_z (1)Tomorrow in front of the FB&H government building starting at 14:00, a large gathering of participants of all Plenums in the FB&H will be held. Citizens of the FB&H, who will be gathered in the framework of a symbolic Plenum of the FB&H, will send joint demands to the FB&H government.

Citizens throughout the FB&H, acting through plenary sessions in their cities, have sent dozens of demands to their local governments in the last two months, in which they are demanding the solution to a variety of problems. Particiants pf Plenums from Mostar, Konjic, Tuzla, Srebrenik, Gračanica, Zavidovići, Maglaj, Zenica, Fojnica, Donji Vakuf, Jajce and other cities will have the chance to meet in Sarajevo, present already agreed upon joint demands, present the demands of every individual Plenum, open new discussions and in the spirit of fellowship will continue their work for the good of the society.

On this occasion, citizens will send to the FB&H government, as well as th Parliamentary Assembly of the FB&H, the following joint demands:

1.Resignation of the FB&H government

2.Suspension of the criminal prosecution of all participants in the protests in the FB&H from 5 February and onwards

3.Current suspension of the privatization process and sales of public goods. The revision of privatization and the prosecution of those responsible

4.Abolition of benefits in institutions and public administration at all levels, including reimbursement to be paid upon the termination of public functions (so called white bread) and reimbursement for living separately from families and accommodation in the workplace.

5.Abolotion of monthly reimbursement for members of boards, commissions and other governing bodies in public companies whose founders are institutions of the government of the FB&H from budget funds

6.Introduction of progress tax rates so that all taxpayers would pay tax at different tax rates, depending on the level of income or profit

7.Launching initiatives to the B&H Parliament for amending the law on the VAT, with the goal to introduce differentiated VAT rates, with a zero rate for basic goods

8.Urgent harmonization of pensions with the growth of the average wage in the FB&H, which should not cause a decrease in the pensions and introducing employment status to people who have acquired the requirements for retirement.

9.Immedieately ceasing to borrow from domestic and international banks and funds for the purpose of public spending in the FB&H.
