Čitluk: Fees for Excessive Use of the Roads in Međugorje i Bijakovići

The District Council of Čitluk adopted a decision on the payment of fees for excessive use of the local roads in the touristic areas of Međugorje and Bijakovići.

Such a fee should be paid within a period of seven days and for a bus from 9-14 seats will amount to 25 KM (13 euros), for buses from 15-33 seats 50 KM (26 euros) and for buses with over 34 seats 100 KM (51 euros).

A confirmation of the fee will be issued in the form of vignettes, which will be placed in a visible place in front of the windshield.

The law will come into effect on 1st March and for every failure to comply with the law will be carry a fine of 5,000 KM (2,700 euros).

Revenues from these fees will be used to finance the planning, construction and reconstruction of local roads and transport infrastructure.
