City Pub: Performance by Gale Kerber on Fifth Day of Festival

Gale Kerber, the frontman of the former popular rock group, will perform today, on the fifth day of the Sarajevo Film Festival in City Pub.

Gale continues to live from music with Dejan Najdanović Najda, the former singer of the group Smak, who is now performing with Generacija 5 and plays in clubs.

At this moment, he does not think about recording new material, because at a time when pirating is dominant, it is not worth it.

“It is better for me this way. I sing until I am hot and sweaty. Then I join the public and I have a drink with them while I hand out autographs. Party is important when you are 20, but now it is important to have friends’’, said Gale.

Regardless that he has never regretted that he chose rock’n’roll as a profession, he advised his daughters, one of which is a student and the other wishes to follow in her father’s steps, to choose a different life.

In the last few years, Najda has been performing with Gale, and together they perform songs by Smak and Kerber, and wherever they play clubs are full.
