Clashes continue in the Syrian provinces of Aleppo and Idlib between forces of the Bashar al-Assad regime and the anti-regime armed group “Tahrir Sham” (HTS).

Clashes began in the western part of Aleppo province early Wednesday morning and continued throughout the day.

Armed groups, which yesterday took control of 32 villages and checkpoints in western Aleppo, today captured ten more villages.

Anti-regime groups, which came within three kilometers of the center of Aleppo city and took control of an area of 320 square kilometers, also attacked the Aleppo Neyrap military airport this morning with drones and destroyed a helicopter.

As the conflict continued, Assad regime forces targeted civilian settlements with surface-to-surface weapons.

HTS seized heavy weapons and military vehicles belonging to Assad regime forces in the regions it took control of. Many regime soldiers were killed in the clashes, and HTS also captured dozens of them.

Approximately 10,000 civilians who fled the fighting in the region have taken refuge in rural areas of Idlib.

Clashes continue, intensifying towards the center of Aleppo city.

As the intensity of the conflict continues to increase, new fronts have formed this morning.

Clashes began in the morning hours in the Serakib region, located in the east of Idlib province, in northwestern Syria.

Anti-regime groups have captured the villages of Trimbe, Dadih, Keferbattih, Kubas, Sabur and Mardih, which were under the control of the Assad regime, AA writes.
