The “Kreka” coal mines produced 120,000 tons of coal in October, which is about 20,000 tons more than the production achieved in September, and an additional increase is expected in the following period.
“The trend of production growth creates the conditions for the regular settlement of obligations of the Mine, especially when it comes to the payment of gross salaries to employees,” announced Elektroprivreda BiH.
The new management of the “Kreka” coal mine, headed by director Elnur Dizdarević, presented the achieved results to representatives of the FBiH Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the Governing Body of the Concern – Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda BiH, representatives and management of the coal mine union.
The participants of the meeting in Tuzla expressed their support for the management of the Mine and the activities undertaken with the aim of achieving better production results and expressed their readiness to continue cooperation on improving the working conditions in the “Kreka” Coal Mines, achieving the planned production results, respecting and fulfilling the rights of workers, but also the obligation of employees of Rudnik towards the achievement of production results.
At the meeting, the goal was defined for the “Kreka” Coal Mine to reach production in the amount of approx. 150,000 tons in the next 6 months, which would enable stable functioning of the Mine, and sufficient amount of coal for the operation of the blocks in the “Tuzla” Termal Power Plant.
