The presidents of the parties that make up the majority at the state level in Bosnia and Herzegovina met on Thursday in Eastern Sarajevo, where they discussed current issues, which, they say, will become the practice of a one-month meeting.

The meeting was attended by the presidents of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Narod i Pravda, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Nermin Nikšić, Elmedin Konaković, Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović and their closest associates.

After the meeting, Dodik underlined that he is satisfied with the functioning of the coalition partners who will continue to hold meetings every month in the coming period and discuss all issues in order to take positions and make decisions based on the facts.

“We have a correct relationship between our partners and this results in such developments as the adoption of the state budget, which is a prerequisite for the work of all authorities,” said Dodik.

He emphasized that the coalition partners agreed to create an agreement with the European Union at the highest level on what to do to continue the path to the EU, but that Bosnia and Herzegovina would not be given new requirements.

He says that they also agreed on putting all development projects into procedures and decision-making based on that, because the initial enthusiasm is still in force, which helps in relaxing the relationship, claims Dodik.

He also wished that a new convocation of the Federal Government be formed as soon as possible at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to propose new methods of government functioning and to work on specific programs and make decisions.

After the meeting, only Dodik addressed the journalists.
