COM EUFOR held a Meeting with French Ambassador to BiH

The EUFOR commander, Major General Maurizio Fronda, held a meeting today with the French Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. François Delmas.

This meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views relating to the security environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as an open and constructive discussion on how EUFOR and the French Embassy can best support the authorities in BiH. During this meeting, EUFOR commander, Major General Fronda, expressed his sincere gratitude to the French embassy but also, he highlighted the professionalism of the French soldiers who are contributing in the EUFOR mission Althea in BiH.

 

“The competence and dedication of French soldiers serving within the EUFOR Althea mission is truly significant. Together with the other 24 nations, French soldiers work daily in a professional manner towards the attainment of EUFOR’s mission”

remarked Major General Fronda.

 

At the end of this productive meeting, Major General Fronda reaffirmed EUFOR’s readiness to maintain close cooperation with the French embassy in pursuit of common goals, emphasizing EUFOR’s strong commitment to remain visible, credible, and impartial.
