Commander of special State Investigation and Support Agency (SIPA) support unit Mirsad Vilić has graduated at prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantic, Virginia (USA) in the class 252, reports FENA.

Head of FBI Robert S. Meeler gave Vilić diploma after he finished three month course.

Meeler also gave Vilić thank you note in which he stated that he’s happy to have the opportunity to thank on saving the life of one of passengers during the flight Sarajevo-Quantico, when BiH commander offered the first aid to a man, keeping him in life before the rescue service came in Dallas.

Quantico Base is the largest base for training of the US marines, where, apart from FBI Academy, building of DEA, Centre for Forensics, chopper unit for transportation of the US President and Hostage Rescue Team is also located.

‘Diploma of FBI National Academy that I have represents one of the concrete examples of cooperation and support that the US institutions, FBI and the US Embassy in Sarajevo give to SIPA’, said Vilić.

SIPA once again showed that it has the support of international partners and that the Special Unit for Support of SIPA is one of the most elite units in region and beyond, said SIPA.
