The commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the murder of 26 citizens of Sarajevo in the then Vase Miskina Street, today’s Ferhadija, will be organized today at the place of suffering, where flowers will be laid by family members and friends of the murdered and numerous delegations. On this day in 1992, a grenade fired from a position of the Army of Republika Srpska killed 26 and wounded more than 100 civilians who were standing in line for bread.
It was the first and one of the three largest massacres of Sarajevo citizens during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from 1992 to 1995.

In addition to the delegation of the Assembly and the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the Presidency of BiH, the leaders of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH, the President and Vice-Presidents of the Federation of BiH, the leaders of the Parliament and the Government of FBiH, officials of the City of Sarajevo and all municipalities from the area of Sarajevo Canton were invited, the KS Protocol and Public Relations Service announced.
