During this period, all filmmakers of documentary films from 22 Mediterranean countries can apply with their films for the competition program of the 15th MFF. All details of the terms of application, as well as the application form, can be found on the website of MFF.
The festival director Damir Čučić will review all the movies that are sent by 10 May at the latest, and whose applications meet all the specific requirements. The films that contain the highest aesthetic, artistic and technical values based on the assessment of the selector will enter the competition program of the 15th MFF.
MFF divides films in two competition programs. In one selection there will be short documentaries that last up to 30 minutes, and in the second are documentary films that last for more than 30 minutes.
The six-member international jury, which will evaluate films from both selections, will decide on the best documentary films from the Mediterranean, and the public will decide on one award.
The organizers announced that this year’s 15th MFF would be held from 25 to 30 August 2014 in Široki Brijeg.
