The Association of Skating Sports in BiH will organize the International competition in figure skating “Sarajevo Open 2018” with the support of EYOF 2019. This competition will be held in the Olympic Hall “Juan Antonio Samaranch” (Zetra) in the period from March 1 to 3.
This is a competition of the highest rank and it is included in the official calendar of the International Skating Union (ISU).
It is placed right behind the Grand Prix, the European and World Championship, and it will be judged by 16 international judges (panel + judges) with ISU licenses. All points that competitors win in this competition will have the impact on their ranking on the World Ranking List of the Best in Figure Skating.
More than 150 competitors from 16 countries registered, and our country will be represented by 10 figure skaters.
This competition also represents a general test for the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). The competition is taking place as part of the test competitions of “Road to EYOF 2019”.
