Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met yestreday with President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik in East Sarajevo.
They discussed economy, infrastructure and political situation in BiH, including certain development projects of a regional and local character, and the ways in which Serbia could provide assistance in this area.
Since the Prime Minister Vucic did not address to the media on yesterday’s Summit of prime ministers of the Western Balkans, Milorad Dodik spoke about the focus of talks and stressed the readiness of RS to actively participate in the implementation of projects of regional character, with the emphasis on finding modalities for job creation.
“The idea is to ‘invade’ projects which have regional significance and the support of the European Union (EU),” said Dodik said, describing this as a great opportunity, and calling for a quicker resolve certain questions.
Moreover, he said that he supports linking BiH and Serbia by infrastructure and the construction of roads as well, including the highway to Sarajevo, noting that the RS is interested in participating in determining the route of this road.
