Contracts for 221 Million EUR for Road Construction in the FBiH signed with EBRD

The President of the FBiH Marinko Cavara and Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in BiH, Ian Brown, signed two new loan agreements.

The first signed contract refers to the support to the Project for rehabilitation after floods and modernization of roads in the FBiH, with which the EBRD provided 65 million EUR for the repair and modernization of roads in the FBiH, with the aim of increasing the traffic safety.

With the second contract on the Amendment to the Contract for the Support to Corridors 5c2 and Corridor 5c2 – extension, two loans in the total of 156 million EUR were combined, which are aimed to finance the construction of motorway sections Svilaj-Odzak and the bypass Zenica, as well as the sub-sections between Buna and Pocitelj, and the section between Donja Gracanica and the tunnel Zenica, as announced by the Office of the President of the FBiH.
