Cooperation between BiH and Qatar in the Field of Security is at an extremely high Level

BiH Security Minister Selmo Cikotic met today in Doha with Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani.

In light of the current major security challenges in the world, fueled by war, economic and migration crises, terrorist threats and pandemics, they discussed the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, but also the need for a coordinated global response to those threats.

It was stated that the cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar in the field of security is at an extremely high level, and that the relations between the two countries will continue to develop and expand in accordance with security and other needs.

Minister Cikotic, who is in Doha at the invitation of the Qatari government, also attended the Milpol security fair, one of the most important security fairs in the world, which exhibits the most modern equipment intended for maintaining internal security.

Within the fair, seminars were held to discuss cyber security and the latest technological achievements in protecting infrastructure from cyber threats, the Ministry of Security of BiH stated today.
