Given the current situation concerning the prevention and protection against the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić established a Coordination Team of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is sitting in a permanent and continuous session.

The instructions issued so far will be supplemented immediately after the decisions of the Council of Ministers of BiH and other relevant institutions have been adopted. The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will undertake activities in order to pass appropriate decisions and instructions, of which you will be informed.

On March 15th, the Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, together with the deputies and heads in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, scheduled and held a Collegium of all prosecutors, regarding the situation caused by the appearance of the Coronavirus in BiH.

At the Collegium, recommendations were given to prosecutors and employees to act in accordance with the recommendations of the competent authorities for the purpose of reducing the risk of infection.

One of the recommendations is to reduce the scope of travel and delay activities that are not requiring prompt action and that will not disrupt the work on cases.
