At the session held on January 26, the Council of Ministers of B&H adopted the Decision on the mechanism of coordination of the process of European integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In other words, the Council of Ministers of B&H adopted the coordination mechanism which is one of two main prerequisites for the credibility of the application for membership in the EU.
The second prerequisite is the adaptation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement. Negotiations with the EU regarding this are already in progress. At yesterday’s session, the Council of Ministers of B&H adopted the negotiation position of B&H, and the continuation of negotiations is scheduled for February 16.
However, it remains unclear why the public was not notified about the adoption of the coordination mechanism. Namely, it was stated in the Official Gazette that the coordination mechanism was adopted at the session held on January 26, but the public has not been notified about the session held that day at all.
It was stated on the official webpage of the Council of Ministers of B&H that five session have been held in January, but none of them were held on January 26.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H Denis Zvizdić announced a press conference today at 11, refusing to comment on anything related to this topic before the press conference.
